Visa Value Card
Challenge: Over 30% of Pakistani population is financially excluded. Lack of a low-cost but reliable product in market to cater to the unbanked population.
Solution: Visa launched its new Visa Value card in Pakistan in January 2025 – the pilot launch of this global financial inclusion initiative. This standalone product offers a compelling value proposition to help the unbanked population enter the card ecosystem.
Impact: To date, 45,000 Visa Value cards have been issued in Pakistan, empowering thousands of students with access to banking services and fostering financial literacy from a young age. In line with recent regulatory changes allowing teenage onboarding, Visa plans to introduce a dedicated teen variant of the Visa Value card, further expanding access to formal financial services for youth and deepening financial inclusion.
