Visa Connect Events in NALP: Supercharging client engagements

In a showcase of the global payment leader’s commitment to the growth markets in the North Africa, Levant and Pakistan (NALP), Visa wrapped up its inaugural Visa Connect series of events that targeted clients from 12 markets in the region in Feb 2025. The NALP region has disparities in language, digitization, and culture but are united in its significant cash displacement opportunity and hunger from both the public and private sectors to digitize their economies. By uniting industry leaders, government officials, and key stakeholders, the Visa Connect series fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing to shape the future of digital payments in the region.
More than 900 clients attended the five Visa NALP Connect events in Karachi (23 Jan), Amman (30 Jan), Cairo (9 Feb), Casablanca (13 Feb) and Tunis (18-19 Feb) where they heard from several members of Visa’s senior leadership on a range of topics including digital trends, AI-driven solutions, digital products, value added services and SME and Gen Z opportunities among others.
The resounding success of these events are a tangible way to showcase how payments are a local business, and Visa are meeting our clients where they are.
