Visa PF Certification Checklist

1. Understand the Program

  • Thoroughly review the PF Certification Guide to understand the entire process, timelines, and operational requirements.
  • To ensure a smooth review and avoid having your application withdrawn or rejected, prepare your complete documentation package before submitting the intake form.

2. Assess Eligibility

4. Submit Intake Form

Ready to submit? The first step is to complete our secure online forms. This will officially start your certification process.

 

5. After Submission

  • Once your intake form is reviewed, you will be assigned a Certification Program Manager who will initiate the engagement.
  • Pay the required CPA or Certification fee for your application attempt.
  • Organize all necessary documents after receiving confirmation of your submission deadline.
  • Review Visa’s feedback and complete any required remediation actions within the allotted timeframe of up to 90 days (if requested by Visa).

6. Agreement Signing

  • Upon successful review completion, sign the Payment Facilitator Agreement (Full Certification) or CPA Agreement with Visa.
  • Receive Certificate of Completion and listing in Visa Global Registry of Service Providers
  • Pay the annual fee.
  • Once you are actively registered with an Acquirer and all required fees are paid, you can onboard to Visa Access.

7. Post CPA Certification

While operating under CPA, ensure your PF ID is correctly provisioned in authorization and clearing messages with your Acquirer and plan to apply for full certification after 9 months - or earlier if you reach $100K/month in Visa volume, but not before 6 months.
